If I Forget to Tell You Later

“If I forget to tell you later, I had a really good time.”. With these words, Julia Roberts as Vivian won the hearts of America in what is arguably the most quotable movie of our time, “Pretty Woman”.

As I rewatched this classic recently, I was reminded of the importance of gratitude and how often we forget to express our appreciation to others.

If you are receiving this weekly email, it is because you have a connection to Those Callaways, and I want to thank you for that. Thank you for all your kind words when the subject of Real Estate comes up in you daily conversations. It is your recommendation that is the life blood of our business, and we appreciate your saying “call Those Callaways” more than you could possibly know.

I had a client thank me the other day for helping her through a particularly difficult transaction and I said, “No, no. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you.”. So, if I forget to tell you later, I’ve had a really good time.

I want to thank my team. Thank you to my daughter Kelly, who you probably know is my right hand. Thank you to my granddaughter Katelynn, who mothers all our agents and helps them be the best they can be. Thank you to Jeff, who keeps track of all of you and helps me get this email out every week. Thank you, Judy, for taking such good care of our clients from contract to closing. Thank you, Jenny, for getting our sellers on the market and thank you Cammie, for being our eyes and ears out in the field. Thank you, Shalome, for guarding our image in print, online, and in videos. Thank you, Jose, for being our go-to guy whenever there is something to be done. And thank you Helen for keeping track of the money. I know I haven’t told you all how much I need you.

Thank you to our agents, who put clients first and magnify the impact of Those Callaways throughout our communities.

Thank you to our affiliates and vendors with whom we entrust our clients to their care.

Thank you to everyone for your support when we lost our beloved JoAnn a year ago.

Thank you to Donna and Joyce and Stuart, now retired.

Thank you all for 28 years of serving others through more than7,000 real estate transactions. We look forward to the next 28 years with eager anticipation because of you and we thank you once again.

This Sunday, I will be holding Open House at our listing on Fanfol. Please feel free to come by, so I can say thank you in person.
